This linemen camp, led by former lineman Emerson Kilgore,
provides specialized training and insider knowledge to help
athletes master the techniques and strategies essential for dominating the line of scrimmage.
Emerson Kilgore is a former Division I football player and seasoned coach
who brings a wealth of experience to his linemen camps.
A native of Warwick, Rhode Island, Kilgore earned a Division I scholarship to Syracuse University after playing high school football at Pilgrim High School. He began his collegiate career as a defensive tackle before transitioning to offensive guard for his final three years with the Orangemen.
During his tenure from 1998 to 2000, Kilgore played in every game, including appearances in the 1998 Orange Bowl and the 1999 Music City Bowl.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Studies, Kilgore pursued professional opportunities with teams such as the New England Patriots and in the Canadian Football League with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Toronto Argonauts. He later transitioned into coaching, taking roles at Canisius College in Buffalo, New York, where he served as both tight ends coach and defensive line coach. While at Canisius, he also earned a Master’s of Science in Sports Administration.
Kilgore returned to Rhode Island to continue his coaching career at the high school level, including positions at La Salle Academy, where he helped lead the team to Division I Super Bowl berths in 2004 and 2005. He also coached in Massachusetts, guiding teams to state championship appearances. In addition to coaching, Kilgore played for the New England Surge in the Continental Indoor Football League during the 2007 and 2008 seasons.
His primary mission is to stress the importance of education, citizenship, and to raise the level of Rhode Island high school football to the highest possible standard.
